The flat calm conditions were to much to ignore so we took the Little Striper up to Morro Bay on Sat. It was greasy flat for our 40 mile run to the 59 deg water. We had the jigs in for about a minute & a half before the double zuchini got short bit. We stopped, chummed & they came boiling. We didn't move the boat until we had to drain out the blood. I've never seen such a huge spread of albacore, everybody for miles was stopped & hooked up. We had 3 in the 50 lb class & were keeping nothing under 40. Ended up keeping 18 & releasing 30+ fish. Lost one in the high 60's when my Dad gaffed my line.

Dang dude, that's some wide open fishing. As usual I am totally missing the good albie bite this year :-(
Thanks for the report though, sounds like an awesome trip.
