I live in the Central valley and am looking for water that holds Blue cats. I know about San V. and other lakes in San Diego county, but i am hoping that there is somewhere closer. Any advice would be help ful. Thank you.

If your looking for a big-one, you have to come down to San V. or Irvine. These are the premiere lakes in California for big blues and channels. (Attch)Irvine summer night with mackerel. Dave.

I know about the quality of the San Diego waters. Have never fished Irvine though.
I fished Sutherland, San V, and several others in the Sand Diego area, but now that I have relocated i am hoping to find something closer..(I live in Fresno)
