Went up to Margarita this morning before the rain started to fall....cold day, a bit breezy for tubbin but I managed....Took Ken A.'s advice an launched from White Oak then paddled across an fished the points north of Jackass Bay....Looks like spinner bait is the flavor....caught a 5, maybe 6 lber and a smaller one ..Other then the spinner bait, I tried swimbait, Rattle trap, brushhog, with no luck..Heard Crankbaits were workin, just didn't have time to try them out, next time....I really need to start wieghing....I get so concerned about gettin them back into the water that I forget...and can anyone suggest a good inexpensive digital camera that would be good to use on a float tube??

We'll have to get together some time and fish together. I hit Lopez and Margarita in my kickboat or floattube. I'm planning on going to Margarita this Sunday...I'll make sure I tie on a spinner!
