Not a bad day if I do say so myself. I'm fishing the under 18 tourney on April 3rd so we did a little prefishing. Got one on a crank early on that went about 3. Not a bad chunk. Sun came up and the fish were on a plastics bite. I got a 5 pound 3 ounce on dropshot with 4 lb test. I got 6 legals and one little bitty fish, before noon, most on dropshot with a Senko fish and Texas rig biter thrown in. It was a lot of fun and I would have topped out with about 16 pounds. Hopefully I do this good at the tourney.

Jake

I used to fish there when I was a kid. We used to catch some good fish. We would stay in the hotel across the street from the main gate to gain entry. Is it still possible to get in there if you're not a resident? Also, do you know if they allow float tubes or kick boats? I sure would like to hit it up some time. There's a restaurant in Temecula that my wife likes called Rosa's Cafe. It's the only one here in California. We drove from Bakerfield one time just to eat there. It would give me a good excuse to come down.
