Wow, what a story! At first, I thought you wrangled him up like the Croc-Hunter. I have encountered 3 incidents. Never attacked, thank God! Once, I was scouting out some spots at Pyramid Lake. I was walking towards the edge of a roadway & saw a Mohave Green. Wow, beautiful snake! I wish I had a camera. It must had recently shedded it's skin because the colors were so vibrant & shiny new. Well, as I approached the snake it stared at me, as did I. All I did was slowly walk backwards. The snake did not even rattle it's tail. Odd. The Mohave Green rattlesnake has venom that is 20 X more toxic than that of the Western Diamondback. The venom attacks the central nervous system. Also causes poor respiratory reactions. Woe! Although, the least aggresive.
