went for some bluegill/crappie on fathers day at the entrance to sailboat cove for a bunch of smaller fish and 2 pretty nice 1 pounders

went last night to the north shore swim beach/creek entrance for some catfish and bluegill and got a bunch of catfish bites but no full blown takers and no panfish to speak of either Doh!

but hopefully will be heading back over there tonight to the sailboat cove entrance again for some more panfish and maybe some cats if everything works out

ill be posting reports often on this lake and overnight boats on the saltwater board

look forward to posting more here

What were you using to catch the crappie and bluegill and were you on shore or in a boat?

i was kinda on shore (on the docks that your not supposed to fish from)

and i was using wax worms with no weight just flylining them and they'd get bit almost instantly

it was the first time ive actually used all the worms in a container b4 i left

ill actually be at those same docks tonight after work
