Bass Pro Shops who opened a store in Las Vegas and one scheduled to open in Manteca, CA will open a Southern California one in 2007. It will be at the Victoria Gardens complex area in Rancho Cucamonga. I know by now it may be old news but some guys still haven't heard.:-)

thats great and all but i hope the small tackle shops dont suffer because of this. i would rather go to the smaller shops and even pay a little bit extra for my tackle then have to go to the bigger places like bass pro and cabelas.

I think the upside to bass pro is the sales and deals they give(not too mention a sick looking store) ,the downside is no-one @ bas pro shops researches out the local worm ,lure makers ,and carries their product. It kills the local guy unfortunately. x(
my 2 cents,
B

I live in Rancho Cucamonga, so I'm definitely stoked, but Bass Pro doesn't have everything I want to fish with. I'll still be over at Kenny's buying my tackle alot of the time.

Fishing805fever,

If you truly feel that way then let BassProShops know...maybe they can if more than one person sends them an email

It kills the "mom & pop" tackle businesses. I think it bites. To put it VERY lightly. x(

Support your local... whatever!
