I update the jig article tonight to reflect some of my more recen thinking. The jig has been really good to me this year and I felt like the article deserved an update :-)

Thanks for the update Rob. I bought six assault jigs at the Fred Hall last night. I'm itching to give them a try...

Rob,

One question about your article... why the white jigs when site fishing?

Thanks.

Hey Sj,

I dont know about Rob, but I use white jigs when site fishing simply because it is easier for me to see when it gets bit. When site fishing, I really dont think that the color matters to the fish. Just about anything, when placed in the right spot on the bed, will piss them off enough to get em to bite it. Thats just my take on it.

Tight Lines,

Clay

Here fishy, fishy, fishy......

It's just so that you can see the jig, and more importantly, see it disappear if the fish eats it.
