NO!!!!! At least buy a Catala. If you wanna be cool buy a Calcutta 300TE, only about $350....

I agree with Leif. I have had nothing but trouble with the Corsair. The Catala is a sweet reel if you can swing the cash.

Corsairs are nothing but trouble. It WILL explode eventually. If you fish it fairly hard, it won't last a year. The only good thing is that you can send it to Shimano and they'll send you a brand new one so that you can sell it and buy a Catala! lmao. Go with the Catala. Best extra $20 you'll ever spend.

NO!!!!!!!! the daiwa millonaire 300cv-x is the way to go. better an cheaper than the calcutta 400. ~Angler Andy

To many problems with the longevity of the reel....If you have the money you can go with the high dollar reels like the Shimano round reels but I prefer the Ambassaduer 5500 or 6500 for the big trout baits! Try them I think you will agree!
