The striper was on the move chasing trout's close to shore with boiling going off. Got two 9lb& 12lb and came unbuttom two time..
you had to be fishing a swim bait and be very quiet walk on the dam
alot of loud fishman talking too loud...night fishing for stirper was a blast!!!

HEy bro..seems like you had a blast...castaic had there night fishing already..if so..darn i missed it again..i havent been fishing bcuz college is a tough...hopefully i will get another chance..by the way what size was you swimbait??thanks

I also fished that night and I was not as lucky as you, I only had one hit with in the first five casts and that was it. Did you get your fish early or through out the night? Everyone I talked to said that it died off after the first half hour or so just like during the first event. I also heard from a guy that a boater had caught a 38 pounder. I was just wandering if this is true because I've heard no reports. See Ya

I caught my two fish about 10:30pm when it got quiet on the dam..
I just waited for a fish to boil, then casted it right in front of it I was siting down about middle of the dam? didn't heard about 38lb? caught. I am still trying to for a 20lber!!!Mr.smallies
