How come when you land a fish, (lets say over six) snap some photos, and then when you review your photo on your computer it does not look like the monster you landed? I was looking at my photo album and it seems as though the fish look smaller. What tha? I know it weighted what it weighted but it just does not look the same. On the other side I see some photos and the say it weighted 10lbs when it looks like it weighted 15lbs. I dont get it! Anyone else with these same thoughts?x(

Bassflys is right you have to hold the fish out so it looks as big as it did when you cought it. Some people say oh your checating making it look huge, when really all I try to do is make it look as big in the pic as it was in real life.
Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day http://www.calfishing.com/gallery/v/members/tmcustoms/

Hey man, long time no talk... hope you're still sticking them!
As far as the photos go, hold them out but not fully extended or it makes them look oversize and its obvious that you're doing it. The inside of my elbow is probably bent to 100 or 110 degrees in most of my photos, if that makes sense. Also, get as close as possible with the camera, that always helps. I doubt you're interested in a photo of the sky or what shoes you're wearing so get as close as you can pull off.

It sounds like you are using a standard camera, not a digital? If so, the best thing you can do is take the pictures up as close as possible. The person taking the pics will think they are too close, but try it and you'll see they come out better.
On digital, you can crop out the sides of the picture to make the subject (you and the fish) appear closer up. That's why a lot of digital pictures online look good, because they are cropped to focus on the subject.
If you have a digital but you want printed copies, try cropping them them like above, then printing them either on your own computer or through Costco or whoever. They'll look a lot better that way than printing the full picture.
