1.) Every time you go outside, you are checking the wind direction (even when you know you aren't going fishing)
2.) Your homepage on your computer is set to Calfishing.com
3.) You look outside to see that it is snowing and the first thing that you think about is... man I wish I was on the lake right now (Actually said that this morning). Should have said something like... wow, it's snowing. I should probably get my daughter out of bed.
4.) You try to hang Stocker Trout, Triple Trout and Rago baits from the Christmas tree before your wife sees what you are doing.
5.) Last but not least... you are dead asleep when all of a sudden you set the hook and fall out of bed.

Stop making me laugh while I'm work! I've had that dream before where you set the hook and wake yourself up on the hookset. I remember in the dream thinking - set! set!!!!! Next thing I knew I woke up right in the middle of a hookset, in bed. rofl.

I remember after a solid week of fishing (mostly worm dragging), I went to set the hook when someone in the seat behind me tugged on my seat belt a few times.
Hey it felt like a spotted bass bite!

..the cormorants love you (or rather your big swimbait). yet you love them too for pinpointing where the baitfish are. http://www.calfishing.com/dc/user_files/5572-cormorant_IMG_0058.jpg
factoid: some asian countries use trained cormorants to catch fish for them, in return for the caught fish the cormorants get to eat some of those fish so they won't starve.

More to add:
1) you search on tacklewarehouse.com every 2 hours to see if the baits you want have come in yet
2) the check out gal at Super Target thinks you're queer for buying nail polish so often
3) You inspect every pack of paper clips you see in every store, looking for that perfect paper clip for that one bait's stinger hook
4) Your girlfriend/wife knows not to mention the lakes you fish, how you fish, your baits, etc to random people you encounter
5) You can pretend to be a trout fisherman without hesitation, who is getting ready to take his 3 daughters with terminal cancer fishing, while talking to Fish&Game or other people who might be in the know about trout stockings or similar juicy information
