I just bought two new Rogue Rods- a light action casting Kokanee 7'6" and an ultra-light spincast 662s. What reels would you guys put on them? I was thinking of an Okuma Inspira 1500 or a Daiwa Laguna 1000 for the 662s. What do you think of these choices?

Wow, $549 at Cabelas for that reel :P I paid $110(a great deal I admit) for the 662s. I'm sure it's a good rod, but do you think it's in the Stella category?
The Inspira (#IA-15) is a sweet reel, I have 2 of them. The drag and 10BB system is flawless. I have beat mine up pretty bad and the paint holds up very well and there still very smooth. Check em out, you be very happy. Let me know if you have any questions

Shimano Calcutta 100 or 150 reels are an excellent choice for kokanee and light trout. They have smooth drags and work perfect with the 6 and 8lb test that is best suited for those fish. If you will be fishing some of the deeper lakes you may want to consider the 250.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. The rods just came in yesterday and they are gorgeous :) I got them for a great price and so I'm waiting to get my reels for a great price too. It's going to be a while before I can truly enjoy them anyway as I'm currently recovering from shoulder surgery. You might recall me writing earlier about casting and tendonitis? Well it turns out I didn't have tendonitis, it was a torn rotator cuff, a torn labrum, and bone spurs x( I'd like to give left handed fishing a try but I think my wife would freak if I even touched a pole...so I'l have to sit around on my ars until the doc gives me the green light. This sugery better work because it sure as heck hurt 1000x more than the original injury ;(
