We are on our way home from short & fairy productive day of island fishing. We started off fishing a few lingcod spots this morning and it quickly became apparent that the wind and increasing swell were most likely going to cut our day short so I made the decision to run out to the deeps and put some fish on the boat. Once we got on the right batch of fish it was good fishing on a very nice grade of reds and coppers.

Our 17 passengers who fished today captured 50 reds, 110 copper rockfish, 10 misc. rockfishes, and 15 lingcod.
