Nice flatties! It's really cool to see more northern Cal tubers getting into the brine. It's really a whole different world than tourney fishing. It's challenging and a kick in the pants too. I'll be out there myself once my transportation problem is solved. It may still be a while though.

Does anyone know when and how the Rock Cod closures will affect Halibut and other bottom fishing in and arround the bay?

It doesn't as far as I know. From what I understand the restriction is for certain bottomfish species deeper than 120 ft all along the continental shelf in Cal. Check the saltwater forum. There's more info there I think.
