I was there on sunday.Tonto and I got on the water at 9 after breakfast. We fished the main lake first i threw a trout plug for about 2+hrs I had nothing,Tonto had six pounders following his rip bait though. We jumped in the first pond a little after 11:00 within 5minutes I flipped a 2 1/2lbr on a 7" watermelon senko, the senko was hard to get in the thick stuff so i switched to a reaper with only one stealer the Tonto got one on a jig,a few minutes later Nicolo showed up(hope to see more of this stick next year,he said he wants to try and make all the tournies)just as he got there he got one on a jig.I switched to a jig and got another right away, began to work the bank i just reapered with a jig.1/2 hr later I lost one about 3lbs he threw the jig in my face.5 more feet down the back i got another 2+lb fish on the jig and then it was about time to go home.Off the water about 2:30.I will probally be there on saturday but not sure.

Main Lake ~ John you fishing for a big hungry trout eaten Monster?

Sounds like a productive fishing day way to go.
Tonto was there too? I’m surprised Jr. didn’t tag along with you.
So I guess the weeds haven’t died off? Flip any fish out of the bamboo?
Soon enough you’ll see me out there.
