On January 25th 2006, my wife gave birth to our new baby boy. Austin Edward Tyler was born at 7:50 pm and weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz. He is our first child and we couldn't be happier (or more tired). :+ I might have to scramble to make the Delta Region events this year but I'm gonna try. Our home phone went out the night before he was born and wasn't fixed until this weekend so no internet or family phone calls. x( Thanks SBC for the prompt service...NOT! I gotta go change a diaper.

I can just hear your wife screamin', "Git the net! Git the net, dammit!!!" :+

Congrat's, my man! Too bad he missed MY birthday by 1 day (mine's the 24th). Oh, well, once an Aquarian, always an Aquarian -- look forward to fishing with him one day (and you too, as well, of course!)

Thanks everybody for the congratulations. This has been the longest two weeks of my life but it's worth every minute.

The in-laws are here this week so I am going to sneak away to fish Beacon on Sunday. I haven't wet a line since the Invitational in October so I will probably spend half the day picking out backlashes and getting unsnagged from tules. Don't get too close or you might get a hook in the ear.
