I am heading out tomarrow. Probably hit the Delta in my boat, got an open back seat if anyone is intrested.

This is the weather warning from the National Weather Service for this weekend:

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE WEST COAST THAT BROUGHT THE FAIR SKIES AND ABOVE
NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL BE MAKING AN EXODUS TONIGHT AS A LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC MOVES INLAND. THIS WILL BRING
MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES AS WELL AS THE
LIKELIHOOD OF SHOWERS THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND. NOT ONLY ARE SHOWERS
EXPECTED OVER THE INTERIOR OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA...THE LOW IS
EXPECTED TO BRING ENOUGH INSTABILITY FOR A GOOD CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS ON SATURDAY...ESPECIALLY THROUGHOUT THE SACRAMENTO AND
NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEYS AND FOOTHILLS. THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO SEE AT LEAST A LITTLE SNOWFALL. AT THIS POINT...RAINFALL
AMOUNTS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE EXCESSIVE BUT LOCALIZED SHOWERS OR
THUNDERSTORMS MAY BRING BRIEF PERIODS OF HEAVIER RAINFALL OR HAIL.

If you are out on the water this weekend be aware that lightnig is a possiblity.

27738, Guide trip out of Big Break on Sunday...
Posted by jsmith, Fri Apr-22-05 01:23 PM
Yeah, I'm finally taking advantage of the guide trip I won at the SCBBBC Invitational in October -- a day on the water with Scott Green, from the Outdoor Pro Shop in Rohnert Park. Definitely looking forward to it (although I hadn't figured on the rain)! I'll be meeting him @ 6am Sunday. *Hopefully* not in the middle of a freakin' rainstorm!!!!

Yeah, caught a nice chunky one off the tules, on a Senko. We missed a few nice frog fish; caught 12-15 or so between us (kinda tough most of the day). See below for a shot of my 6.4 lb'er.

You guys were right, Scott's a helluva nice guy, and a good stick, besides. I enjoyed every minute of our excursion. Thanks again, SCBBBC, for stickin' that prize in the raffle pool!

Almaden Lake off of Colman has been kicking out some nice squeeks :)

Most likely be able to fish SUNDAY A.M. likely to be post frontal ;)

Open to go just about any where.?.

Yo Swampy if your headed this way Calero/Coyote or just shore fishing
Please give me a call.
I'll hook up with you and see about ripping some green fish or other rod bending fin critters }(

Got a real nice spot here local for the dinosuars.
Just would need to stop at the bait shop for live grass shrimp or ghost shrimp.
