Hit up Hog slough with Cranium Robustus last night after work. Wind was blowing HARD and made for some difficult fishing. Ended up with one keeper and one dink both on plastics. Cranium ended up with the same but his fish were bigger. Not a great trip but better than sitting at home and I had good company. Can't wait for the weather to warm back up and get the fish back into top-water mode.

Yeah, the wind was super gnarly last night, but it sure was nice to get my nicest fish to date (3lber, yeah I know, big deal but this is my first legit season so gimme a break.

All in all, it was better than just sitting around home thinking about fishing.

Can't wait to do it all over again bruddah! Try to work that Fathers Day angle you mentioned for Sunday, for I am surely on it!

Sorry for not mentioning you Omar, but then I did not see you a whole lot. Man your legs must be sore kicking into that wind the whole time.

I will work on the F-Day trip but I only give it 25% chance of sucess. If not F-Day then we will need to hook up some other time. My weekends in June are shot but after work trips are always possible.
