Went out again 8/17 and had a good time once again! No real big ones but they were quality with a couple big ones lost!

Was with Binh, his brother Lin (sp?), Binh's friend Dave, William from SCBBBC and myself. Everyone got a chance to play some fish which is always fun.

We landed a total of about 10 fish with an additional 20 hookups. One of the big ones lost spooled William!

Here's the pics!

Todd,

Nice fish, again! Where on the Feather is this place? As you've probably seen from our posts, we're headed up there to do a float. We were wondering if we will be floating past the 'Barbless, Catch & Release Only' area.

so you won't be passing through this 'catch & release' area.

Thanks again and good luck on your trip! Can't wait to see your photos in a couple weeks (right?!?).

Awesome fish, great photos!

Were they ALL caught on flies?

10245, OMG!!!!

Dude you are freaking me out with these huge fish. I ahve never done anything like this but have to get out and try it. Is it fly rod only type fishing. I am not to good at fly casting.

Not all were caught on a fly. If you look closely at the mouth of Dave's fish you'll see a custom spinner (single hook genuine silver blades and body). The rest were caught on the fly.

If you know the half bit of flyfishing and know at least how to mend I could put you on the fish. If you can't mend, well, it's going to be difficult. The key is making sure you keep your fly down to the fishes level. Same thing with Steelhead but I have yet to catch one on a fly!

I'll probably be going once more before this section closes (Aug 30 is the last day).

Talk to you guys later!
