Stayed at State Park for 2 days. Got on the water at 0515. Took a right and decided to hit only points. Right away I had a 5 lb fish on snagproof poly-wog. I threw everything but the kitchen sink and the only pattern I could find was either dropshot or senko.Wind was really whipping up. Had to battle swells of about 2 ft. Found a nice point and got another 10-12. Fish seemed to be stacking up. My dad got 11. Off the water for Lunch.

After lunch wind semed to die down a bit and went back out the the point and got 7 more. All the fish were between 1 1/2-3 lbers.

Next morning went left out of State and fornd a lond slough. tied on a Zoom Horny Toad and the fun began from there. Had 7 landed and lost 4 more. My Dad joins me at about 7. He makes about 5 casts then I saw him
set on something BIG. It mde 1 jump and I knew this was a big fish. I rowed fast over to him to help him lip it. Tossed this big girl on the scale and she broke the 9lb mark. Officially was a 9.2. Thi was my dads biggest recorded fish. We snapped a few good shots and got her back in the water. My dad didnt stop smiling for the rest of the day!!!

Total I had around 30 fish for a limit of about 15lbs.
Dad caught about 25 fish of a limit of about 19 lbs.

I cant wait for next weekend Im going back!!!!!
