Wade, you're selling our pink boat short! The frame IS aluminum but the useless rear basket, the clips/pins, and the seat mounting hardware are steel. That's why you are only seeing rust from the hardware not the frame. If the frame was steel the boat would probably weigh close to 100 pounds. If you don't believe me, get a magnet and see where it sticks and doesn't stick. It will not stick to aluminum.
