Congrats, that is one hell of a year. I don't think many people in Norcal have caught so many big fish in such a short time!
Leave the crazy fish basket at home next time, though. Not cool to the fish.

About the fish basket....I always thought the fish basket was better for the fish, instead of keeping the fish out of the water for the time it takes to get the scale and camera ready, they can sit in the water, inside the big floating well. Keeping them in there for 2 long is obviously not good for them...It doesn't matter anyway, it got damaged recently and is out of the game.

Agreed on all points. When I shore fish alone I hold the fish in the water with one hand, while setting up my camera with the other. It does suck and I'm sure putting the fish in a basket for 5 minutes would do no harm. But much longer than that... not as much. Fish seem to beat themselves up in those, big ones more so than others.
