How is the night fishing supposed to be this time of year? Ive been using the 9" slammer at a few lakes with no luck. Anything else I should be trying (for trophies) ?Any tips? Depth? type of structure?

Hello Nate, I really enjoy fishing @ night.

Before I got hooked on this swim bait thingy,

The trick for me was using a 10" Power Worm in dark color patterns.
I would rig the worm Texas style with a Brass and Glass.
I believed that scent would also help...I use allot of Kick Bass Crawdad scent .

Fishing from shore I would look for a nice point to start.
From a float this time of year I would be back in the creek arms.

While tubing at night I got on a good bite last year while casting onto shore.
The fish wanted the bait dragged into the water.

Sometimes fishing around the marinas with the swimbaits works well...
I think its becuase of the lights and small baitfish thingy.
