I use flukes a lot and have had some success. I use them as more of a top water (or more accurately a just under the top water) bait and just twitch it back. It's basically a soft jerk bait. It has a lot of action and darts in every direction, great for imitating a wounded shad. I use it a lot differently that I do a Senko and have never deadsticked it or let it sink down.
My PB 8lb LMB came on a Zoom Super Fluke in the Baby Bass color.
I even had a 1lb crappie hit one last week!
