All of the Stocker Trout's have an internal lead design so they will sink as deep as you want them to sink. I have been using the 10 inch version in it's prototype stages over the years and personally have caught about 20 or so over 10 pounds on the 10 inch version. Rod and Todd Thigpin who make the baits have caught well over 100 bass over 10 pounds on that version too. I prefer the 10 inch over the 9 inch because it has a much slower tail wag and fishes better when you slow roll it deep. I have caught many bass over 10 pounds on the 9 incher too because that was the biggest one available for many years but if I had to choose one, it would be the 10 inch version.
