10102, New Pics: Skinny Bear Kick Tail Swimbait

I was beginning to get pretty down on the Skinny Bear product, but this one cheered me up. The Skinny Bear Kick tail is a 5" bait. Very thin and soft, with some cool transparent color patterns.

The action is subtle, and what struck me most about the bait was the super slow tail kick. With a 1/4oz of weight on the hook, the bait falls with beautiful action. The thin-ness of the tail also helps compensate for any kinking in the tails, to the point where it is unlikely to matter if the tails come crooked.

I've looked at a lot of Basstrix clones and none of them have impressed me so far. This bait I can at least say offers something different. It's subtle, fishy looking, and looks right in the water. $5.50 for 3 baits is a nice price to boot. That's my first impression.
