Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you know any good salt or fresh water fishing spots in San Luis Obispo county. I have trying to find some good spots but have yet to have any real luck. I would really appreciate the help if anyone wanted to share some knowledge with me. Thanks a bunch and good fishing to all.

Lately I've been going to Oceano Beach and surf fishing right out from the ramp. Usually catch some perch and often times a few smelt. It's not always great but I usually catch a few and that beats sitting at home and reading about it.
Give it a try.

You are right it is better than sitting at home, someone also told me that Montana De Oro beach in Morro Bay was a good surf fish spot. Thanks for the tip ;}

I've never fished up there, but my fishing buddy goes up north of Morro Bay and says he does well up there around the old tanker pier. I'm going to give it a try someday, but Oceano is only about 15 minutes from me so I go there.
