Fished Strands last night for my first Corb of the season. 23 inches and worth the wait. A lot of hand size BPs biting also. Plenty of sandcrabs, but the corbs seemed to only want the softshells. The BPs hit everything. Farmed two after I got the first one.

Went back this morning to try my luck again. Water seemed colder. Got one 14 incher and farmed two more that were larger. Maybe I should change my name to Farmer John. The bite wasn't as good as yesterday, but still a good day for fishing.

Great job on the corb! I fished the north end of Salt Creek and there are hardly any sandcrabs there yet. Caught/released 4 Barred Perch and 3 small Leopard sharks this morning though on cut squid.
