Looks like a bad cast of fastrac addiction to me :)

Went with two buddie Sunday. Wore out my drag on log barracuda and WSB while one of them was skunked and the other caught *one* short 'cuda.

I'm a believer....

A bad "cast" ... boy I must have fishing on the brain. I meant a bad case LOL.

Fastrac's do work good. I wish I had discovered them before I moved from SB.

I 've caught plenty of cudas on broken back minnows when everyone else were using the standard blue and white iron. The only drawback is that you have to play them out. No bouncing. There 're something about the action that the cudas really like. Sometimes I even do a dropper loop setup with a 3 once weight and catch them deeper.

Something else that I 've tried is the good old plastic worm. A six to nine incher rigged with 2 exposed hooks ( light wire leader threaded inside the worm ). This 've worked well when the cudas are "touchy" and would only bump the irons.

That's good you oredered them. The diving broken back can be a killer lure. It's a hard lure to find in the stores except for the shallow runner which does'nt work as well unless they are right on the surface.

The floating lures have better action on slower retrieves; a sliding sinker setup could be dynamite.
