dont use a jighead after the egg sinker. your carolina rig should go like this:

main line (6-10lb test) with 1/2 oz MAXIMUM or lighter egg sinker on it. then slip on a bead of some sort. tie on the swivel and attach your leader (4-6lb test). tie on a hook. match the size of the hook to the size of your lure. if youre using the 1.5" grubs then id suggest you use a #6-4 hook. you can either rig it weedless (texas style), thread the hook through like you would with a jighead, or hook it on like you would a live baitfish.
