Got to the pipe at the crack o’. Covered it with marker buoys. Water was beautiful clear blue. 67 degrees. Seas were flat. 30 mph down smooth as silk. Worked Fishtraps, TJWs, and TSBs. Left after 3 hours. Got gay skunked.

On the way in crossed over the cuda fields, I was very happy that I brought my flygear.

I had one of those moments. I suddenly found myself all alone, on a giant saltwater lake, in my skiff, with my fishing gear, surrounded by feeding fish. Life is good.
