Be sure to watch the presentation that people who are catching fish are using. You can throw the same exact bait as the people who are catching fish are, but some times it's all in the presentation. It may be a little twitch of the rod or the way they raise the tip of the rod. Little subtleties like this make all the difference in the world at times. Once you get a feel for it, you could be out fishing the guys that taught you how to to catch em'. Also, when you catch one, remember where and how you were fishing that bait. Watching a lot of fishing shows has helped me a lot too. Some of them can really help. If you know anyone with the Outdoor Channel, go watch it on Monday nights. They have Monday night fishing and there are a couple of shows that are real informative. I am definitely no expert but every little bit helps I suppose.
