Fished Legg today and found the bite to be fair. I fished the real muddy lake today and started from the concrete snake and walked down to rosemead blvd. I picked off one at the three pipes that was about 2 pounds walked a bit more and picked off two one pounders at the point above that and just before the boat race area i hooked a nice 4 plus pound fish. Got all my fish on the core shot senko w/ the chartreuse tail and 6 pound test. I bet all of em were on beds but i couldnt tell cuz of the water clarity. Thanks for the report earlier Jerry, it sure did help. Give me a buzz. Laters

I'm glad that the info helped. I hit the lake this afternoon for a couple hours. It sounds like I missed the bite. I got about a 2 lber on the backside of the South Lake. I removed my hook and then removed another hook from the fishes lips. The other hook I removed was about a size 14 bait holder with about an 1" of line left hanging off the hook. It looked like the fish had recently done some battle with a few of the residential crawdaddies too. I released the fish and continued fishing and other than that I watched about a 12" fish open it's mouth and suck in my plastic then open it's mouth again and spit out my plastic. That whole incident took place over the course of a about a second. Then the little guy swam back in to the green water and faded away. They planted the middle lake so I was hoping I would see some big green trout anglers prowling the shore for some trout for lunch but I didn't see any incredible hulks today. You can count me in for Thursday. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully the fish will bite for us. Even if they don't it will be a good time.

Tsunami- I left a message on your voicemail. Give me a call if you have some time to talk fishing. If not we'll talk more on Thursday.
