I know this is random... but has anyone ever even tried fishing in the bird refuge in Santa Barbara? It looks awful fishy, but I have never explored the possiblity... Anyone?

haha, I'll let Brian #2 and Daniel chime in on this one. They were talking about that no more than a week ago. I guess there aren't any no fishing signs anywhere. They checked it out but didn't get any bites.

Well i checked it out, and i didnt catch any, but it looks too fishy for there not to be fish in there. Im going to wait for spring time and see if i can get some reaction fish. I dont know what the deal is, but if you find out anything post it, id love to find out if there are any fish that lurk in that all too inviting waters.

Mosquito Abatement plants those minnows... they are commonly called "mosquito fish" and make incredible food for bass as they reproduce at an incredible pace. There has got to be something in there...I plan on hitting it this spring as well, just to see what I can get. Thanks for the replies...
