With the warm weather that we're supposed to see this weekend and the full moon Saturday, do you think it would be worth my time to tube (don't have a boat) Castaic Lagoon on Saturday? If so has anyone had any success with any specifics lately? I know it's been cold but I've gotta get out there!

I fished the lagoon saturday night from the small pier, for about 3 hours.I was going for cats with nightcrawlers and chicken livers.I didnt get even 1 bite.Later I went for bass and threw a pig and jig combo,no luck there either.

To the guys posting,

I've been looking at the lower lake for a float tube trip. I wonder if it's common to catch at least a few bass and trout for a days effort soon after a trout plant. Nothing for sure of course, but I would like to flyfish there if both fish there often got active and willing to bite.

I'm spoiled with flyfishing the salt, but I also like to be out in the green.
