Fished Perris for a couple of keepers and one short. Got the first keeper shallow.....10ft. on the island drop-shotting early then a nice fish (17.5in) in rock-climbers also on the drop-shot. Couldn't fish the East end until 1pm (hunting).....so much for an early shake bite there. Got one short in the launch cove also.Fished a Troutbait quite a bit with no apparent followers. Overall....Tough but a couple of biters to be had. Water is getting colder...55.5 to 56.5 see Ya

All 3 of those fish came on a 4in. Robo straight tail in the Aarons no red flake color.....real slow...deadstick style
