Fished from about noon until 4:30 p.m. and came up empty. Nothing new for me lately. Man it's
been slow.

Water levels are up - way up. Lots of submerged brush along the banks now and the weeds are
pretty much gone.

I threw a swimbait (parmu), jigs, cranks, blades, and even did some spooning and I didn't even get a tap.

Did not see anyone else catching fish either. It was cold, a little windy and the water was down right
chilly. Visibility was about 3-4 feet.

I fishes sailboat cove and made my way around to the the point between the two dams and the
weed harvester.

Nada.

SJ & TC,

TomCod and I fished Puddingstone at 6:30 am. We didn't get much action either. However, we did see two guys on a boat fishing with crayfish near shore West of the launch ramps. One of them caught a bass est. at about 10#. It was BIG. Regretfully, that fish went directly into the livewell. I hope it went back in the water later on.

TomCod caught a 4.5# bass Saturday (see his post on 12-28-02). That bass was caught somewhere in between the launch ramps. Keep fishing guys. This time of the year is tough. The bites come few and far between. But, the bites you get are nice ones.

See ya'll at the lake some day.
