Well I was just wondering if jigs would work right now for Bass. If so what color? If not jigs then what?

What and what color should I use to catch Bluegill?

What part of Prado are most of the little Blue Gill and little Bass caught at(We don't have a boat)?

For jigs for bass black/red black/blue or any watermelon type color works good. I have found the 6" brush hogs to work the best here. For bluegill try wax worms or meal worms along the reeds or fallen trees. Not too many bluegill, you will probably catch more bass on minijigs and wax worms than bluegill.

The bass aren't all little. My friend brandon has the lake record of 8.9lbs on a jig in green watermelon witha pumpkin brushhog. We have caught many bass 5-6 lbs and countless 2-3lbs. If you want the big bass go with the jigs.
