Today was an ok day for smaller fish. I started off in the first cove near the entrance with a powerbait pole and tossing my swimbaits. I moved over more toward some reeds and had a huge blowup on my swimbait, but it snapped my 12lb line. Put on another and casted again only to see a fish around 8 lbs trying to throw my lure.Decided a half an hour for a trout wasnt worth it, so i headed over to the inlet. I fished the Bryans lip ripper minnows, mostly blue pearl & flor. orange, and had fun with the bass. I caught 9 in 9 casts, biggest was about 1.5lbs, but still fun. Then i tried my 3"bungee's i make and caught one about 1.25lbs. Had to leave there from 215 to 315 because they were spraying pesticide. Came back to catch two small ones, then hardly any bites for the next hour. Headed to a small dock near the praking lot at 5pm, caught about ten more lil guys to 14" and called it quits. Ill make sure to have more trout worms to hook ya up with next time, i dropped the bag somewhere. Im probably going back there next thursday, so i can give ya some then.

Keep up the good job at prado, io would have loved to get a 3.3 today.

I wasnt even going to fish for bass until I talked to you and you said how good they were biting. I've had the same thing happen with a castaic trout. Right on the hookset my knot must have slipped and as I was re-tieing I saw a bass with my trout lure trying to throw it.
