Headed out w/ Nate-Dogg in the Pelican last night at LMV, pounded the shoreline hard all night w the Trout baits... No love all the way to the Majorca area, when I got a nice blowup on the wall, but she did'nt stick it, Nate managed to whack a few Trout on the mini-jig in Sizzler when I again got a fairly decent blow-up, again on shore, and again right after the circle's cleared from around the bait, whatta' ya' think Brian #1?????? I stayed w/ the slammer down the damn and in a few more swim areas, nada, we ended up back by the marina, when, yes, a slammer fish!!!!! It only went about 3, but she hit it like she was 7, damn!!! Oh well, next time....

I went out to LMV Wednesday morning. Caught my limit by 11:00 am. One trout was pretty nice sized also, a little over 2 pounds.

They seem to bite on just about anything, but getting them hooked is the tricky part.

I caught the 4 below using mini-tubes soaked in garlic, Trout Magnets, and a Rooster Tail (bright orange). Good luck everyone.

haha, when it boiled did you hear a meow? That's cool that you got one on the slammer at least. I might have to be core next weds night and charge LMV on my way up to santa barbara. I'll keep you updated.
