Leaving the house it was pouring down rain, and add to that an oil spill in the Caldecott and the normally 30 minute drive turned into a little over and hour drive to get there... Expecting it to be pouring rain I had my rain suit with me, but I experienced nothing more than sprinkles. I brought only about six baits all of which resembled trout. Within the first hour I lost one of my two Rago Swimbaits :( I started around 9 left at 2 with nothing. Threw a medium(9")M.S. Slammer, castaic trout, the rago, a 9" stocker trout and an 8" sinking optimum from the marina to the bouy line by the dam. With the storm I was hoping for at least one bite but couldn't manage that...
