Went to Quail Lake 5.30 in the morning , it was COLD . On the way out to the inlet i saw fish jumping on the surface and cast to the area but no taker. When we got to the inlet around 6.00am and while we rig up we saw fish boiling on the surface , I tried to cast out to that boiling but way out of reach , and later before sun up the fish boiling again and again way out of casting distance . After sun up I did not see any more boiling .
We set up two rods for bait ( anchovie ) and one rod for lure , I tried many difference lure but not a nipple .
Saw couple people got 2 small cat . We went home around 10.00 .
