Rick and I went up to Silverwood lake, and got there by 2 p.m. We were having trouble finding somewhere that had anchovies. We both tossed out some anchovies on one rod while tossing lures with another.

The action was very slow for a long while, with a bite here and there on the anchovies. Some boaters came by with limits, that they got by the spillway, which when we fished Silverwood on Friday was completely dead.

By the time we left at 6:15 Rick had 2 fish and I had 1. It was slower in the afternoon than what I expected.
