Anglers set new standards of casting excellence at the 94th Annual National Casting Tournament, held July 29 to August 3.
The Chicago Angling & Casting Club hosted the event, which featured distance and accuracy events for both fly casting and plug casting.
The most dominant competitor in this year's championship was Steve Rajeff, who set a new national record for single hand distance casting by launching a 1/4-ounce plug 299 feet.
