well helped my buddy prefish for the clearlake tourny that isnt even for another 2 or 3 weeks! but i can see why he needs to do it a few times. i was fishin strictly for big fish for a little bit but i could tell that doug (the guy who took me) didnt like me slappin my big plugs around so i switched over to my trusty fluke. i got a few dinks (10- inch)and than doug's son dan tied on a little white grub and started catchin fish after fish (all those little dinks). i couldnt resist so i tried a few throws with it and i had a 6 inch bass on a big old 7+ came up and sucked it down. piggyback bass!!! but it just let go of the fish and swam away. we were fishing in this ball of bait fish that was literaly an acre big!!!!! so after the whole day we didnt get any keepers!!!!!! oh well

Thanks for info dude. Piggyback bass, that's pretty cool!
Clear lake can be really tough this time of year, I think when there is so much bait fish around and the fish get so stuffed it makes them hard to catch. Plus the weather on Saturday was tough fishing conditions wise.
Bass-n-Tubes next weekend should be interesting. Someone will find them and get them to bite, but I think it's going to be tough.
