We fished the swimming area last night from 7 to 8:30, it was a pretty uneventful night. We saw lots of guys throwing buzzbaits, I was throwing swimbaits and rattletraps but had no luck. Finally I snagged a dropshot rig with a smoke grub on it so I threw the grub around and had one fish rip the tail off. Aaron had a couple of fish explode on a Storm curly tail but no fish landed. Word on the lake is someone caught a 9# fish on Monday on a brown jig with purple crawdad trailer. Im sick of the swimming area, CJ have any advice? :)

Stick to the swim beach, don't be discouraged. Right when the lifeguards leave, throw top water on the beach. Prefferbly a sammy 100 and walk the dog. After that go to the North Shore Point and throw senkos on the ledge. And at 9:00 head back to the swim beach on your way out and throw senkos on the beach. Don't worry about the weeds the senko will penetrate them easily. Stick to this method, i promise you it will produce.

Thanks for the info PuddMaster. I haven't really put in much time in the North Shore area. I'll have to buy some topwater baits and try that tommorow!
