Kayak around in a tandem with the girlfriend from 4-5:30P. She was nice enough to position the boat for me to cast along the rip rap opposite the roadside. Picked up one largemouth off a big point (~3 lbs) and two others in a cove. All fish caught on a chartreuse wiggle wart and released. Fish were hanging around submerged timber in the cove. Crankbait was all beat up afterward.

Then got a bad bird's nest that I couldn't unravel. Let out some line and messed around with a crappie jig in the Willow Springs' cove for a few minutes to no avail. Shore anglers weren't doing so well, although the fish seemed to be on beds already.

Saw a couple of float tubers by the dam. Calfishing posters? We should do a Nor Cal rendezvous.
