Fished from about 6:30 to about 11. Started in White Oak flats. Didn't find any in the tules, but got a couple on the castaic threadfin shad along the edges of the submerged weeds. Also got a 3 1/2 on a spinnerbait about 8 feet down where the bottom dropped from ~4 ft to ~10 ft. All of this was between 7:30 and 8. Nobody seemed to be home in any of the wood in White Oak flats. Tried the channel heading back toward the dam. Saw a couple big uns, but they spooked. Ended up in Jackass canyon jiggin in the tules. Saw a couple more big uns who also spooked. Maybe next time.<P>BTW, the water is crystal clear. About 20 feet of visibility.
