Does anyone know if the freshwater fishing hotpage is still in existance? When you try and open the reports page, the page is in error mode.

Hey Banging Bob, your reports always crack me up on there. I don't know what's up with the site the last few days. There was a lot of stuff that needed to get deleted from there in a bad way, so maybe they are handling that.
2739, too bad

Rob I think you're exactly right. I've checked the hotpage every couple of days for a few years now and in the past weeks, some bad element had started posting some junk. It got stupid. Although it seems that they're still updating the hot bites.

I had to see after reading you post. As soon as it seemed your were wrong, it went 404 error. I hit stop the next time around as quick as I could, .. it has a dixon lake of the month, and that good old commerant problem. That was it.
so sad too bad

It seems that someone else has taken over that website and it is all saltwater fishing now.

Something similar,i.e. trash talk, occurred before and Jeff straightened it out. Hopefully, that is the case now and he will be back up. I miss the Sarl reports.

Hi Bob, I emailed Jeff a couple times and haven't heard back (neither have others). The message boards were hosted by JES Sportfishing's server. The other Hotpage stuff was on another server. When Jamie of JES redid his site, the boards were nix'd. I don't believe it was due to the trash talk on there. Other than that I have no idea if they are coming back. Jeff is ok I think as I still get his Irvine PR releases sent to me from the same email.

Rob, just a warning, if the same idiots who were trash talking on the board in question come here, exercise censorship and delete them or block them from posting. Censorship IS ok.

Hey Fongster!
Well, its a sad day to not have the fishing hotpage board, but calfishing is a board that has potential. If we can get more guys who fish the pay for trout lakes, this board will only get better for reports in respect to Sarl, laguna, and vine

Tight lines

Yeah, I know that the board is gone. So Have Catmando. This site does have the potential to be just as good. Catmando is aware of this site, so is a couple of others. I just have not fished in over a month due to financial constraints. But will be at Sarl next weekend. AS soon as I start going back again I will post my fresh water reports here and hopefully this site can be just as good as the hotpage. It just seems a little bland for right now but it can get going with the right people posting. What up Banging BOb!See ya on the water soon.
